Nirvana, the greatest band to ever exist (to me), plays a big part in my life. I was first introduced to them by my father in 2002 when i was like 11 years old and it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Although i was a big fan of hip hop i always had a liking for this rock stuff. I didnt start to express it till i was about 16. It all started with Guitar Hero. That game opened a door for me i guess you could say. It made me want to expand my knowledge of this thing called rock and roll and eventually fall in love with it. Although i expanded my knowledge and learned of other bands Nirvana is stil my favorite band and i have a feeling it will always be. I'm also a huge fan of The Strokes, i feel their the only band doing this thing called music the rite way, bands like owl city can suck it for all i care. Guitar Hero and Nirvana made me into what i am today, and introduced me to something i love doing, and thats playing guitar and making music. Although ive only been playing for a year i think im pretty good. I wish Kurt was still alive so i could thank him personally, but i cant so i wanna give a big thank you to Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and even Chad Channing although he wasnt around that long, if it wasnt for these people i wouldve known what good music is. I also wanna give a special thanks to my father for introducing me to this beautiful thing called rock and roll, and also for getting me my guitar the greatest gift ive ever gotten in my life.
